1. Simcoe Crisis Stabilization Beds, Mental Health Worker (Relief)

Position: Part-Time, Casual
Base Location: Simcoe, Ontario
Start Date: ASAP
Hours of Work: Scheduled shifts are 12 hours in duration (both days and overnights, including weekends) but can be portioned at times for flexible relief coverage. Wage Rate: Starting at 23.63/hour

This position works out of our Simcoe Crisis Stabilization Bed Service location at 189 Norfolk Street South in Simcoe and provides support to persons experiencing acute mental health crisis and / or contact with the justice system, in a residential setting utilizing a Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery model. 2. CSB Program, Mental Health Worker (Contract-Days)

Position: Contract (estimated 6 months with possible extension)

Base Location: Crisis Stabilization Program, 189 Norfolk Street South, Simcoe

Start Date: March 2024 (exact date to be determined)

Hours of Work: 3-4 days (12-hour shifts) per week

Wage Rate: As Per Collective Bargaining Agreement

This position works out of our CSB Program location at 189 Norfolk Street South in Simcoe and provides support to persons experiencing acute mental health crisis, in a residential setting utilizing a Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery model.  Reliable transportation is required.  A full job description is available upon request.  Work shifts are typically daytime between the hours of 0800-2000 and 0900-2100 and involves regular rotation through weekend shifts (presently every 2nd weekend).

A post-secondary diploma in the Social Services field is required, with a demonstrated familiarity and understanding of Brant, Haldimand & Norfolk mental health & addiction services. A current police Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
