We are presently accepting applications from qualified individuals to fill the following positions:

1.Brant Safe Beds, Mental Health Worker (Multiple Positions, Relief)

Position: Part-Time, Casual

Base Location: Brantford

Start Date: ASAP  

Hours of Work: Scheduled shifts are 12 hours in duration (both days and overnights including weekends) but can be portioned at times for flexible relief coverage.

Wage Rate: Starting at 23.63/hour

This position works out of our Brant Safe Bed Program location in Brantford and provides support to persons experiencing acute mental health crisis and contact with the justice system, in a residential setting utilizing a Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery model.  Reliable transportation is required.  A full job description is available upon request.  

A post-secondary diploma in the Social Services field is required, with a demonstrated familiarity and understanding of Brant, Haldimand & Norfolk mental health & addiction services.

2. Brant Safe Beds Program, Mental Health Worker (Nights)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Base Location: Brantford

Start Date: asap

Hours of Work: 3-4 shifts (12 hour shifts) per week

Wage Rate: $23.63-25.82 per hour or as per CBA

This position works out of our Brant Safe Bed Program location at 84 Brant Avenue in Brantford and provides support to persons experiencing acute mental health crisis, in a residential setting utilizing a Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery model. Reliable transportation is required. A full job description is available upon request. Work shifts are typically between the hours of 7:00-7:00 and 8:00-8:00 and involves regular rotation through weekend shifts (presently every 2nd weekend).

A post-secondary diploma in the Social Services field is required, with a demonstrated familiarity and understanding of Brant, Haldimand & Norfolk mental health & addiction services.
