Land Acknowledgement

We at CMHA Brant Haldimand Norfolk acknowledge that the land on which we live and work is Indigenous territory.  The City of Brantford and surrounding area lies on the lands of the Anishnaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and Mississauga of the Credit.

As individuals who benefit from this land, we have a responsibility to constantly educate ourselves, and to build reciprocal relationships that are rooted in the values and histories of Indigenous communities.

We thank the people for sharing the land in order for us to do our work today.
