This Giving Tuesday, Be Someone’s Hope
Nov 30, 2024
“BE SOMEONE’S HOPE”
On December 3rd, “Giving Tuesday”, we’re asking supporters to be there hope for those whose lives are intertwined with others—their people, their everything, their someone. For individuals facing severe mental health challenges, grappling with addiction, or feeling the weight of depression, their loved ones—family, friends, and community—are more than just companions; they are lifelines, sources of love, safety, and connection. But the struggle can make it hard for them to hold on, and it can threaten to sever these precious bonds.
The devastation of overdose, and the tragedy of drug poisoning pull people away from those who need them most. Our Giving Tuesday campaign shines a light on this reality: just as with pets, families and friends feel a deep void when someone is lost. They wait for calls that don’t come, look for familiar faces that are no longer there, and live with the emptiness left behind. But with support, we can help those who are struggling find a path toward healing and recovery, so they can stay here, with the people who depend on them.
By giving this Giving Tuesday, you can help prevent these heartbreaking separations. Every donation helps keep someone’s someone alive, supported, and able to continue being there for those who mean everything to them. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of people and their loved ones—ensuring no one is left behind. Because every person is someone’s someone.
