CMHA response to increase in access to alcohol
Sep 5, 2024
As of today, more than 4,000 convenience stores across Ontario are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, in addition to nearly 3,000 other licensed retail outlets.
CMHA Ontario continues to raise our concerns about the lack of health strategy along the retail expansion.
If you’re struggling with the greater alcohol availability, help is available. Connect with your local CMHA or call ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600.
Sign a letter to your local MPP and support our call for a comprehensive alcohol strategy in Ontario. https://alcoholandhealth.ca
