Mental Health Works is a national social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
We provide capacity building workshops that are person centred, evidence based, and solutions focused. We will help you to build mental health awareness in your workplace. We will teach you skills for how to respond to challenging situations. We will collaborate with you toward a more psychologically healthy and safe workplace.

What We Do
Mental Health Works provides capacity building workshops on workplace mental health to both employers and employees. Our approach is person centred, evidence based, and solutions focused. We meet the needs of workplaces for mental health training in three essential areas.
Types of workshops available and descriptions:
Core: Full Day
These workshops, including our flagship Mental Health at Work: Core Workshop, provide a full day (6 hours) or more of interactive learning. These workshops introduce participants to workplace mental health, to specific common issues like depression and anxiety, and to elements of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety. In Focus: Half Day
These workshops focus in on specific issues relating to workplace mental health in an accessible half day (3 hour) format. Mental Health IN FOCUS
These workshops take content from the Mental Health at Work: Core Workshop, and focuses it to your needs in a half day format. Workplaces that want to learn more about mental health, mood and depression, stress and anxiety, or the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety can now focus on one at a time. Mental Health Essentials: One Hour
These workshops introduce participants to the essentials of workplace mental health through short (1 hour), targeted presentations. These workshops provide an overview of the most essential ideas and skills in the Mental Health Works approach to workplace mental health. Short (1 hour) presentations can target specific topics such as workplace mental health, depression, stress, psychological health and safety, and many more. Learn more
